About Dr. Zenia Aguilera
Dr. Zenia P. Aguilera has over 25 years of experience helping patients of all ages from New York to the Caribbean to improve their vision, save their eyesight, feel better and look better. As a highly sought after and published board certified Ophthalmologist, Dr. Aguilera has performed surgeries as complex as removing cataracts from a newborn, to giving a teen the self-confidence to succeed by correcting a lazy eye that made her a victim of bullying.
She is available to help the entire family with preventive, chronic and acute treatment of all conditions of the eye, including dry eye, pink eye, eye injuries, eye infections, glaucoma, blocked tear ducts, astigmatism, degenerative conditions and malformations of the lids and eyes. As an experienced physician, Dr. Aguilera’s expertise allows her to assess patients holistically, in some cases diagnosing vision related conditions allowing referral for early intervention and treatment.
